對中常委的疑慮，國民黨秘書長李四川說明，總統初選作業要點並沒有明訂民調比例，若以立委初選來說，多人參選時就有制度是對比與互比是85%、15%，4年前立委初選也曾經啟動防磚機2胎房貸銀行制，當時是做100%支持度民調；因此，協調過去，最後是採各50%來做。
