晚上十點半收到熱騰騰的信
Chang Jui,
I was told that "you" (hereafter in this mail, limited to the use of its singular form, i.e. Chang Jui) and Lee Cheng-lung wanted to talk to me. My responses are:
1. Due to 2 papers, 1 take-home mid-term exam, and 1 outline for final research paper, I completely have no time for you and Lee Cheng-lung by the end of this week, not even a word or a sentence. The only exception will be this mail.
2. If there's gonna be a talk,
1). Make the topic of the talk clear for me, since I don't waste time on issues that are irrelevant to me.
2). The talk should be confined between the minimal number of individuals that are relevant. Again, I don't waste time talking to people that are irrelevant to me. If Lee Cheng-lung wants to join the talk, explain to me his role (e.g. a guardian? a translator? or no role at all?), and convince me of such necessity.
3. If you successfully convince me so that Lee Cheng-lung is to join the talk, then I want to invite another individual in the talk to. That will make the structure of the talk more balanced: 2-2, although unlike your side, the person I'll invite will definitely remain unbiased throughout the talk. If Lee Cheng-lung finally is personally engaged in the talk, the person I'll then integrate into will be Professor Garcia.
4. If you want to talk to me without interference from Lee Cheng-lung, the good timing for this 1-1 meeting will be next Tuesday 6:05pm after Professor Singh's Int'l Negotiation class.
DO NOT SEND ANY REPLY TO ME BY NEXT TUESDAY 1:00 PM. As I said, this week I totally have no time for you.
UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY 1:00 PM, I won't pick up phonecalls from you and Lee Cheng-lung, nor will I read mails from you and Lee Cheng-lung (I'll delete any mails sent out from you and Lee Cheng-lung, without opening them.). But you can contact me after that, with your topic of the meeting and logical explanations ready.
