　　在笙子的部落格中，很少提到芭蕾教科書上的知識，例如：芭蕾動作的術語、芭蕾的歷史演進、芭蕾舞劇的介紹、…，因為這些題目看起來就比較嚴肅，而且字數又多，要怎麼用圖文並茂（最好再加上影音）的方式來撰寫內容，讓大家覺得有趣易懂又記得住，真的是一件不簡單的事情！

　　回歸正題，“硬鞋”不僅是一般民眾對於芭蕾的印象，也是女芭蕾舞者們的親密伴侶（現在也有越來越多男舞者穿上硬鞋），它可不只是表面上看起來夢幻而已，還有滿滿的學問在裡面呢！

　　雖然很希望國內可以有這樣的展覽，不過近期可能沒辦法吧～笙子的“硬鞋專文”也只寫了縫緞帶、綁緞帶，希望接下來可以努力把其他的硬鞋文，好好寫一寫張貼上來。

一腳踏進貝塔鞋子博物館

　　館內展品的年代從古希臘走到二十一世紀的今天。創辦人宋尼雅．貝塔（Sonja Bata）女士，是個百分百的愛鞋狂，嫁入製鞋公司貝塔家族後，於一九四○年代購買了一雙印度新娘鞋，整個鞋面僅有一顆鈕釦供姆趾夾住，勾起她對鞋子的熱情；不過她的興趣已經超越穿鞋，而是找鞋來看。

　　貝塔女士給人的印象優雅，散發著貴族氣質，然則鞋子博物館外觀卻相當簡約現代。一九九五年開放的博物館，曾因建築本身獲獎，為多倫多著名建築事務所Moriyama and Teshima Architects設計，長方形博物館建物共五層，發揮想像力就可以看出是個帶蓋鞋盒，是目前北美地區最大的鞋類博物館。館內展示的鞋子超過一萬雙，從四千五百年前第一個人穿上鞋之後，有關於鞋的一切就都收藏進展館裡，從平民到貴族的鞋底春光，一覽無遺。

The exhibition compares the athleticism of the discipline of ballet with the illusion of effortless grace created through performance and explores how the pointe shoe has been pivotal to these aspects of the dance.
相對於（舞台上）看似夢幻又輕鬆優雅的演出，此展覽呈現出（舞台下）芭蕾的訓練過程。並探討為何硬鞋（足尖鞋）在舞蹈中具有舉足輕重的地位。

Focusing on the origin of ballet and the technological advances in the development of the ballet slipper and pointe shoe, the influence of fashion on ballet and ballet’s influence on fashion will also be considered.
將焦點放在芭蕾的起源，以及芭蕾舞鞋（軟鞋）和硬鞋的演進與製作技術，還有時尚流行與芭蕾的相互影響。

The exhibition features artifacts from the Museum’s private collection, as well as historical and contemporary examples of ballet shoes on loan from The Shoe Room at Canada’s National Ballet School.
這次展出有館藏的特殊工藝品，以及從加拿大芭蕾舞學校的鞋房，所借展的芭蕾舞鞋歷史與當時的舞鞋。

An interactive area resembling a practice room allows visitors to try the five positions of ballet. A try-on area for children completes the exhibition. Special ballet events and programs are being organized throughout the run of the exhibition.
還有一個互動體驗區，讓遊客可以嘗試芭蕾的五位（基本動作），讓展覽更完整。展覽期間，還有安排特別的芭蕾節目喔。

Shoe Museum是介紹全世界各式各樣的古老鞋子   我還在2樓看到中國的3寸金蓮耶!!

翻開介紹多倫多的旅遊書，幾乎都會介紹這個鞋子博物館。喜歡鞋子的我今天終於有機會到那裡一遊。大人票加幣 12 塊 (約台幣 360)。

地下樓層展覽的主題─All About Shoes，介紹鞋子的歷史
二樓展的是法國洛可可風的鞋子，講究品味跟華麗。
二樓除了展示洛可可鞋子之外，還有北美原住民鞋的展示。
第三層樓博物館鞋子收藏精華區，各種鞋總匯

每週四晚上 5~8 點一律免費進館。
