Perhaps Love
「這首歌改變我倆的人生。我這一生都一直是歌劇迷，二十年前我偶然遇見多明哥（Placido Domingo），便開始追隨他到世界各地，心想可以和他一起創造一張暢銷的古典作品，有五年的時間他都躲著我，我是個超過年紀的古典音樂狂熱份子，但最後他同意與我錄音，那也是John音樂生涯不理想的時候。
我確信 John可以寫出一首發自內心的情歌，於是他便回到飯店寫下這首歌曲。
我已開始和多明哥錄製〈Annie's Song〉，但那時唱片公司似乎不是很喜歡〈Perhaps Love〉，所以我把這首歌帶取給多明哥，他說：『多麼美呀，給人如此多難以忘懷的想像畫面，當然，我要唱這首歌。』於是有了讓他成為對唱曲的想法，儘管最初我曾擔心兩個男人一起唱這首歌會別有含意，但我還是克服了那個想法，結果最後我為多明哥又作了一系列的專輯。」
