一)報名期限:即日起至2006年12月29日止

三)報名方式:請附上報名表格、「身份証」正反面影本一份,及匯款單,
傳真、郵寄(郵戳為憑)至本團或親自送件。
無「身份証」者以「戶口名簿」外籍人士以「護照」替代-

比賽須知
一)比賽時間:2007年2月5日起
二)比賽地點:國立臺北藝術大學
三)比賽地址:台北市北投區學園路一號
四)比賽組別:少年組(13歲或以下民國82年7月31日以後出生者)
青少年組(14-17歲民國77年7月31日以後至82年8月1日以前出生者)
青年組(18-25歲民國70年7月31日以後至77年8月1日以前出生者)
五)出場順序:參賽者完成報名手續後,本團將於2007年1月6日上午10:30假本團辦理抽籤,
無法出席者將由本團代理。
(請參賽者或家長於上午10:00〜10:30之間到達本團,逾時不候。
抽籤結果請於1月8日至12日致電於本團或上網站查詢。)
六)比賽方式:各組計分為初賽、決賽共二階段,初賽各組選取前6名進入決賽。
註:人數不足6人時直接進入決賽(需演奏初賽曲目)
七)敘 獎:各組第一、二、三名頒贈名次獎狀及獎牌各一,第四、五、六名頒贈優勝獎狀,
若參賽者演奏能力未達評審標準時,評審將保留敘獎之名次及名額,
比賽成績將於所有賽程後宣佈及頒發獎狀。
各組第一名將於2007年4月4日與本團假國家音樂廳舉行協奏曲音樂會。
各組第一至三名將於2007年上半年由主辦單位安排獨奏會演出。
注意事項
一)各組參賽者須準備初賽兩首曲目【指定曲一首、自選曲5-10分鐘單樂章作品或協奏曲快板樂章一首
(含華彩樂段)】,及任選一首決賽指定之協奏曲(完整三樂章),決賽時全曲完整演奏。
二)參賽者須各組開賽前10分鐘完成報到手續,比賽開始後經三次唱名不到者以棄權論。
三)參賽者須自備伴奏。
四)演奏樂譜建議使用原典版。

Application
A. Submission Dates: Now through December 29, 2006 (postmarked date if by mail)
B. Entry Form: Get yours at the ATS office, by SAE (please see address below), or download it at www.atsrings.com.tw.
C. How to Apply: Submit the following documents to the Academy of Taiwan Strings by fax, mail or in person: (1) a completed entry form; and (2) a photocopy of the front and back sides of your ROC citizenship ID (a photocopy of your household registry for those without an ID, or a photocopy of passport for non-ROC residents), and (3) a photocopy of the bank transfer receipt of the application fee - with the name of the competitor and the entry category specified on the blank area.

Procedures and Requirements
A. Competition Date: February 5, 2007
B. Venue: Taipei National University of the Arts
C. Address: 1 Hsuen-Yuan Road, Peitou, Taipei 112, Taiwan, R.O.C.
D. Categories:
Junior (13 years old and below / born after July 31, 1993)
Senior (14 to 17 years old / born after July 31, 1988 and before August 1, 1993)
Adult (18 to 25 years old / born after July 31, 1981 and before August 1, 1988)
E. Order of Competition: A draw shall be held on January 6, 2007 at the ATS office. The staff at Academy shall stand in for those who cannot be present at the draw. The competitors or their parents should arrive at the ATS office between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on the day of the draw. The draw results can be accessed from January 8 to 12 by calling the ATS office or at the Academy’s website.
F. Procedures: The Competition consists of Preliminary and Final rounds. The first six (6) front runners of the Preliminary round in each category will enter the Final round.
Note: If any category has less than 6 applicants, all competitors will be entered into the Final round directly.
G. Awards: The champions and first and second runner-ups will be awarded laureate diplomas and medals; the third, fourth and fifth runner-ups will be awarded diplomas. The Jury shall not be obligated to award all the prizes. The announcement of jury's decisions and an award ceremony will be held upon the completion of all performances.
All champions shall join the Academy of Taiwan Strings to perform the April 4th, 2007 concert at the National Concert Hall.
A joint recital of all champions and 1st and 2nd runner-ups will be hosted by the ATS during the first half of 2007.
Notes
A. Preliminary Round competitors shall perform two pieces of works - a designated piece, and a self-chosen 5 to 10-minute piece of one-movement work or concerto Allegro movement (including cadenzas); Final Round competitors shall perform one complete piece of three movements from the listed options.
B. All competitors should report to the program coordinator ten (10) minutes before the competition of his/her category starts. Those who fails to respond to the three backstage calls after the competition starts will be deemed to forfeit his/her right to compete.
