This examples show a simulation of multi-continuum interaction. In this scenario, a rectangular block slides down along a slope due to gravity, then impacting a column stacking up by hundreds of blocks. Frictional contact is also included in the simulation. Similar examples can be easily found in many publications conducted using discrete element method (DEM). In contrast to DEM, all the blocks presented here are deformable.
