這次呢，來看看複合關係代名詞的用法。複合關係代名詞是個複雜的小東西，要先複習關係代名詞的概念喔!

複合關係代名詞兼具先行詞與關係代名詞的功用，可以用來引導名詞子句。這個混血家族的成員有這些: whoever, whomever, whichever, whatever. 與關代一樣，複合關係代名詞可以當主格，受格和所有格。

主格	所有格	受格
whoever	whosever	whomever
whatever		whatever
whichever		whichever

複合關係代名詞的意思譯為"任何..."  

whoever = anyone who

whomever = anyone whom

whatever = anything that

whichever = any/either one of them that (用於有選擇性時)

也許這樣的解釋還不是很清楚，看看以下的例子:

  1. I will take anyone who wants to go. (我會帶任何想去的人走.)
      = I will take whoever wants to go.
       [解] anyone (先行詞) + who (關代) = whoever (複合關係代名詞)

  2.  Anyone who breaks the window should pay. (任何打破玻璃的人都應該賠償.)
       = Whoever breaks the window should pay.
       [解] anyone (先行詞) + who (關代) = whoever (複合關係代名詞)

  3. Give the gift to anyone whom you like. (把禮物給任何你喜歡的人.)
      = Give the gift to whomever you like.
       [解] anyone (先行詞) + whom (關代) = whomever (複合關係代名詞)

  4.  We believe anything that he said. (我們相信任何他說的事情.)
       = We believe whatever he said.
       [解] anything (先行詞) + that (關代) = whetever (複合關係代名詞)

  5. I have 5 books. You may borrow any one of them that you want.
      = I have 5 books. You may borrow whichever you want.
      (我有五本書. 你可以借任何你想借的一本.)
       [解] any one of them (先行詞) + that (關代) = whichever (複合關係代名詞)
              whichever用於"有選擇性"時, 通常前面會有數字.
