【洪紹欽╱台中報導】新生代爵士鋼琴家許乃中{blue}領軍的漂兒爵士樂團，下周日（九月九日）將在台中縣立文化中心免費演出。

其中最引人注目的是年僅八歲的許雅涵，她年紀雖小卻能自創歌曲，去年參加中華電信「大電視之星」比賽，打敗二千五百名不分年齡對手，獲創作組冠軍。

台中縣立文化中心主任陳嘉瑞說，成軍十二年的漂兒爵士樂團，團長是爵士鋼琴家兼編曲家許乃中，他是台灣樂壇少見的天才型全能音樂家，除現場演奏也擅長即興編曲，其演奏技巧展現滄桑爵士特色。許乃中此次率領娃娃臉、歌唱低沉的主唱宋甜兒，及sax陳培勇於演奏廳演出。

特別來賓則是許乃中的八歲女兒許雅涵，她將以鋼琴自彈自唱其創作成名曲「香草咪咪」，此曲是她為心愛的波斯貓所作，並拿下「大電視之星」比賽創作組冠軍，

許雅涵昨面對媒體略感羞澀，但在專業歌唱評審呂子厚老師打造下，年底可望推出「八歲的奇蹟─許雅涵」個人專輯。

 

超級星光大道歌手周定緯則是獲得動感組冠軍。

9歲創作歌手許雅涵 年底出輯

    就讀國小四年級的許雅涵，參加中華電信「大電視之星」比賽，在2千5百名參賽者中脫穎而出，榮獲創作組冠軍；年底將發行創作專輯「香草咪咪」，在國內樂壇形成新話題。

 

   今年才9歲的許雅涵，是台北興南國小的學生，4歲起接觸古典樂，6歲開始纏著爵士鋼琴家爸爸許乃中要求啟蒙；從一開始的挫折到慢慢掌握其中技巧，2年的時間，連一般大人都不容易體會的爵士即興風格，她都能輕鬆以對。

    參加「大電視之星」比賽時，許雅涵演唱的「香草咪咪」，以自家愛吃香草冰淇淋貓咪為主題，唱出小朋友輕快爵士的味道，一舉拿下第一名，動感組冠軍是最近因「超級星光大道」節目成名的周定緯。

    年底她將發行自己的專輯，許雅涵很高興，因為全片都是自己作詞、作曲，創下金氏記錄最年幼詞曲創作者記錄。編曲、配樂工作，則由許乃中負責，父女合作出唱片，9日將首次在台中縣立文化中心同台演出。

    許乃中是漂兒爵士樂團的團長兼鋼琴手，創團12年歷史，此次演出成員有主唱宋甜兒、薩克斯風手陳培勇與小提琴手吳承衡，挑選爵士經典名曲將首度挑戰無貝斯、鼓的不插電現場演出，歡迎民眾免費入場。

台中縣立文化中心即將於2007年9月9日(日)下午2:30演出「瘋源於jazz漂兒爵士樂團」，現場採免費入場方式，由國內新生代中最優秀之爵士鋼琴家兼編曲家許乃中blue領軍之漂兒爵士樂團，偕同演唱爵士樂之歌唱家宋甜兒Ann，舉辦仲夏爵士夜系列的第一個主題“瘋源於jazz”，首度挑戰無貝斯、無鼓與最高難度經典爵士樂名曲之不插電現場演出，為了讓台中縣民能夠親炙爵士樂之美，決定不售票演出，歡迎大家呼朋引伴踴躍參加這一場打破傳統與禁忌，挑戰極限自我的演唱會。

這場演唱會的特別來賓，8歲的許雅涵，是在去年9月參加中華電信公司「大電視之星」節目打敗2500名對手，獲得創作組第一名，表演鋼琴自彈自唱自創曲“香草咪咪”，這是她為心愛的波斯貓所作的曲子，超級星光大道歌手周定緯則是獲得動感組第一名。

 

得獎後首次面對媒體的許雅涵略感羞澀，歌唱專業評審呂子厚老師讚許有加，宣布〝8歲的奇蹟－許雅涵〞將於年底發片，此張唱片將是打破金氏紀錄、創下最年幼詞曲創作者，這一張唱片即由許乃中編曲、配樂。

「漂兒爵士樂團」團長兼鋼琴手許乃中 是國內新生代jazz樂手中最被肯定的jazz演奏家，不但擁有偶像般俊秀臉孔，其大膽搶白式的演奏方式，鮮明強悍又不失細膩，他也是台灣現代樂壇少見的天才型全能音樂家，除了現場演奏外，他也擅長作曲，即興編曲與唱片編曲。苦練而成的純熟演奏技巧加上自身的天生才情，讓他得以從容並廣泛的呈獻出各種爵士音樂的特色，令人意外的是他的音樂所流露出的情感，竟有超乎其年齡的練達與凔桑，展現出大將的個人風格。

Pure Jazz  Trio<漂兒jazz>&Xu, Ya-Han <許雅涵>

The best talent, Mr. Xu, Nai-Zhong, exactly the most predominant Jazz pianist and composer among new generation musicians, leads the Drifter (漂兒) pure jazz trio band.  The band is composed of the coryphaeus (vocal), Song, Tian-Er (Ann) who used to be the first Jazz singer invited for performance at the formal Culture Center, together with the saxophone player, Mr. Chen, Pei-Yong.  He is a quite a rare talent integrated with the traditional training of traditionally big bands and a typical young musician well founded with music theories.

 

It is the very first challenge for a band performing a live unplugged show without any bass or drums but the topping classic Jazz music pieces with high difficulty for performers.  It is actually a show breaking past traditions and taboo yet a Jazz performance with unleashed ego-challenge.

The special guest for this show is a little girl, Xu, Ya-Han aging 8, a musical composing championship winner from the Big TV Star program. She will publicize her first album in very near future.

 

Xu, Ya-Han is the championship winner defeating 2500 rivals in the Bit TV Star program held by the China Telecom.  She is the first prize winner among the sector with composing contestants of all ages.  She played the song titled “Sweet Grass” which was composed on her own.  It is a song dedicated to her beloved kitty.  Mr. Zhou, Din-Wei arising from the TV program named

Super Star Ways

won the first prize among the acing and singing performance sector.

 

 This contest did not only make Xu, Ya-Han become the youngest championship winner historically but also break the Guinness records with her own composed album as the youngest composer, lyric writer and music producer.  She is also honored with the youngest Jazz saxophone player in Taiwan and it is quite a milestone in Taiwan music history.

 

The album titled “A Miracle of a Girl Aging 8 – Xu, Ya-Han” will be issued in the end of this year.  The overall contents of this album was under the arrangement and background dubbing of Mr. Xu, Nai-Zhong , the chief of Drifter Jazz Band.

The band chief of Drifter Jazz Band is also a pianist receiving the most positive confirmation among the new generation musicians.  He is advantaged with both handsome looks and confidently candid style in musical playing with clear-cut and detailed features.  He is also a rare all-around musical talent in Taiwan.  Aside from live show, he is also proficient in composing, improvisation and album arrangement. His exquisite and mature playing skill is reached by both hard practicing and benefited with his inborn gift.  With such, he can easily and extensively present divergent essences of various Jazz music pieces.  To people's great surprise, his musical performance actually reveals the emotional sophistication and bleakness beyond peers of the same age, yet with his eminent personal style well shown.

 

With the opportunity to co-play with Fumiyo renowned and applauded by Japan Jazz music circles as the first saxophone player in Asia, thereafter, he have always cooperate with senior performers from Philippine. His broad experience in Jazz performance is actually the leading talent among young generations. Xu, Nai-Zhong is really a rare all-around music talent in Taiwan.  Aside from live show, he also has a good command in composing and musical arrangement.

The Vocal, Song, Tien-Er, is a player transforming from classical music to Jazz.  She is also a vocal talent cross various music fields. She is also a Jazz program host at the Broadcasting Corporation of China (BCC), the first locally Jazz vocal invited for the formal performance at the culture center.  No doubt, she is also held as the sweetest Jazz performer, receiving the training of traditional classic music. During her junior high school days, she used to win the Excellence award from island-wide piano playing contest.  In 1994, she joined the UAE piano test at the level beyond all her peers. She issued her first piano playing album when aging 16.

 

To people's great surprise, she is luckily gifted with a gloomy voice despite her baby-face.  It is quite difficult for people to discern a sudden downbeat Jazz voice from her natural childish sound out of the same girl. Her professional singing skill just sophisticatedly expresses the hearty Jazz style in singing.  Her traditional training background together with mature voice and skill make her become the promising Jazz star receiving everyone's attention.

Recently, she has spent effort for promoting Jazz. Also, she is widely invited for Jazz concerts, host music concerts or act as a music commenter.  Her articles can be read in numerous art and lecture journals with her humorous and professional contexts well demonstrated.

ALTO SAXOPHONE PLAYER: Chen, Pai-Yong
He is an unusual young talents vested with both traditional band training and well-found theoretic cultivation in music playing.  He used to cooperate with numerous local renowned singers like Cai Ching, Huang, Xiao-Hu, Su Rwei, Chen, Guang-Yu, Wu,Si-Kai and some other signers.  Aside from proficiency in Jazz playing, he is also masterful in Latin music, globally renowned music pieces, folksongs, dancing music and even new playing style for old pieces.  His music styles comprise almost everything with abundant essence in his playing.


All best local music talents make up the Drifter Jazz Band and it is actually a dream band in local Jazz music circles. Everyone is featured with severely professional background and experience with extensive availabilities in music styles including Swing, Standard Jazz, Be-Bop, R&B, Bassa Nova, POP, New Age, Crossover and newly created songs, etc.  During its earlier development stage, they put concentration on both POP and Jazz music.  From this focus, a unique band nature is finally created. It is believed that within few years, we will definitely become a representative Jazz band yet merited with local natures.

The Drifter Jazz Band is now taking the lead in local Jazz music. This band has been established for 12 years.  In 2000, it conducted tour concerts to promote for Jazz at all culture centers around the island.  There were 3 No. 1 records created by this band; namely, it is the first Jazz band formally invited by governmental Culture Bureau to perform at the culture centers separately in Nantou, Ilang and Penghu.  In 2003, this band was invited by the Vice President Lu to play Jazz in front of the Nigaragua president. In July, 2007, it was invited by the Presidential Palace for Jazz music playing.

 

The Drifter Jazz Band is well planned to get its start from local markets and it is hoped that there will be some music lovers to reach some invaluable consensus with common ideals and goals with our humble effort so that the markets of Jazz playing can be prosperous with the best endeavor ultimately aiming the global markets
