安靜的地球, 為何不安靜! 

2008年05月12日14時28分04.0秒, 在四川汶川縣發生M7.8級地震. 兩塊大陸板塊隨隨便便擦一擦, 就造成了大量的人命傷亡和財物損失. 所謂 "天地不仁, 以萬物為芻狗", 正是大自然的寫照. 儘管如此, 這片不堪一擊的大地, 卻是人類和其它生命賴以生存的重要場所.

宗次郎在"静かな地球の上で"歌詞裡寫著 :

この地球は誰のもの 森と人そして動物と
静かなこの地球で みんな一緒に暮らしている

大地萬物都一起生活在這安靜的地球上. 偶爾, 它不安靜了, 就會造成浩劫. 只能當"芻狗"的我們, 感慨世事無常之餘, 也請幫四川災民祝禱. 為逝者默哀, 為傷者祈福.
