A true internet phenomenon, Kate Walsh a 23-year-old guitarist recorded this album in a friend's bedroom and named it 'Tim's House' in his honour.In a bid to make sure her gentle folk songs reached the public she formed her own record label called Blueberry Pie and put her work on the internet.
The classically trained pianist from Brighton said she built up a fan base by putting her music onto her MySpace page and eventually persuaded iTunes to sell it. Kate said she her songs were inspired by Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex, a seaside town where she grew up and still has family.

說服iTunes發售 登下載榜首 :
沃爾什將歌曲上載 MySpace 網站後，不久即大受歡迎。她其後說服 iTunes 在網上發售《Tim's House》，上周更成功登上下載大碟榜首。她日前獲邀到倫敦的蘋果分店表演，受訪時直認並非iTunes固定顧客，「實際上，我還未擁有iPod呢！」沃爾什自製大碟的成功經驗，證明有創作才華的歌手毋須再靠唱片公司出碟。她說：「我首次創作的大碟叫《Blueberry Pie》，那(自製大碟)相當容易，任何人都做得來，網上的迴響令人吃驚。」她18歲時獲倫敦音樂學院取錄，為了達成自製大碟的心願，不惜擱置入讀大學。她說：「18歲前我一直醉心古典鋼琴演奏，從沒想過能成為職業創作女歌手。」一周內賣出幾千隻大碟的沃爾什說：「我希望保持私隱，亦不想與心中的音樂偶像會面，那只會令一直以來的幻想破滅。」她已跟一發行商合作推出CD版大碟，讓樂迷能在商舖選購。她笑言：「我每天都會上iTunes榜看看自己是否仍是冠軍，我想(下載量)已超越艾頓莊！」 - 泰晤士報
