這兩天瘋狂聽音樂，或說瘋狂尋找我喜歡樂團的「影像版」或「Live版本」，完全進入音樂的美妙境地，心底小聲說：「有YouToBe，真好。」
熱愛音樂的好友ppp，這兩天推薦我一個樂團guiLLeMoTs，我收到她寄來的guiLLeMoTs單曲《Of the night》的mp3〈The Rising Tide〉，立刻愛上這個由四個跨國籍音樂人組成、2004年在英國獨立地下音樂引起旋風的樂團（博客來有對這樂團的簡單介紹），透過YouToBe，並發現guiLLeMoTs各種有趣的表演風貌。
在YouToBe找到的〈The Rising Tide〉Live版本，比單曲版那個民謠式、以簡單吉他聲為主要配器表達的低濃憂傷版本，Live版音樂配器編制更豐富多元，情緒更狂烈高亢一點，我也很喜歡。
兩個版本，情緒完全不同。
單曲版，是深夜心中隱約起伏的巨大寂寞波濤；Live則像近距離看著白花花的浪潮強烈拍打著岩岸。只是這Live版只有唱下半段，小遺憾，哈。

下面這個Live版本，比較完整，又是另一種味道。
世界如此遼闊，海浪聲顯得遙遠寂寞，並略帶一種疏離無力。

上週在咖啡店，我問起guiLLeMoTs是什麼樣的音質，ppp對我隨意說：「guiLLeMoTs主唱的聲音類似Damien Rice。」因為〈The Rising Tide〉mp3那個單曲民謠式版本，音質非常像Damien Rice。
結果，她去查，發現他們去年真的還幫過Damien Rice的演出擔任過暖場團，真是有趣呢。

果然，如同好友寫在日誌說的：「會喜歡上某種音樂或某張唱片，看來就跟談戀愛一樣，要遇上對的時間與對的人。」
我剛好在此刻遇到吧：）
ppp的日誌寫得很精彩生動，關於閱聽guiLLeMoTs表演〈São Paulo〉的心情sometimes i could cry for miles, but i don't…。
儘管此刻在整條街道上你發現還是只有你自己，邊走邊哭著。
